Star Wars: The Acolyte is an upcoming American science fiction television series created by Leslye Headland for the streaming service Disney+. Set within the Star Wars universe, the series explores the dark history of the High Republic era, approximately 100 years before the events of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

The series was first announced in December 2020, with Headland as the creator, writer, and executive producer. In March 2022, it was reported that Amandla Stenberg had been cast in the lead role. Filming for the series is expected to begin in 2023.
